“Dear potential customers of J & J Autobody, I am writing this review not because I was asked, but because I volunteered. We probably all have our favorite restaurants where we have ordered one thing and liked it so much that we never ventured to try anything else on the menu. I feel kind of the same about J & J Auto Body. Having tried them, I don’t believe I would ever think of trying someone else. If I ever need body work on my car again, they will have my business.

My car roof started blistering from sitting in the sun for long periods of time for many years. No rust, just tiny blisters all over. So I decided that I should have it repainted before it gets worse.

I called several shops, described the problem and was given ballpark figures for the job. J & J was one of the places I called. They were the only place that refused to give me even an approximate estimate over the phone. That right away made me trust them more because that’s how I do my business as well (and, no, my business is NOT writing reviews).

I came in and they gave me an estimate that was lower than the other ones by several hundred dollars. They also told me that the roof needs to be completely stripped of paint and repainted because just sanding it down and repainting would not last. They guaranteed their work for the life of my car. They gave me a lift to a bus stop after I dropped the car off and picked me up from a bus stop when I came to pick it up. They finished the job a whole day sooner than estimated. The paint job on the roof was perfect. They also repainted the spoiler even though it was not part of the job and they did not charge me for it. On top of everything, they completely vacuumed and cleaned my car inside and outside – I did not expect any of these additional things and was completely blown away.

It is a beautiful feeling to be treated fairly and right. That’s why I am writing this. I think if a business is doing a wonderful job, other people deserve to know about it.”
